Double Nucs are a great way to house 2 small colonies in one standard size 10 frame hive body. 4 Deep Frames fit on each side of the divider and a separate entrance is located on each end of the divided bottom board. As the colonies grow add the 4 frame supers to give them more space. Many northern beekeepers are now using this method to overwinter nucleus colonies.
